ARTIST STATEMENT

My drawings pull together the mundane and the extraordinary to depict the universal manifest in private, interior worlds. The specificity of this process lies in the experience of and approach to making the drawings. Being minimal in their execution and materiality, they are well suited for expressions of the stream of consciousness. Sometimes dark and scary, playful at other times, they exist in a dreamlike state, aspiring to invite, to reveal, to confide.
